Especially if you’re young, you do not need to be applying this every night. It did drastically reduce the oiliness of my skin though and dried out my hormonal pimples (wish I knew about this when I was a teenager). Or every few days, and then gradually to once per day in the mornings?Also, I shouldn’t mix niacinamide and vitamin C together at the same time, right?

Though under control (thanks to azelaic acid, metro gel, and a heavy moisturizer), some of the damage appears to be permanent. Personally, if you are using a strong OTC or a prescription, I would not apply it near where you have rosacea issues (I really wish I had just used it on my forehead). Will also dry out your skin, so I recommend not using it with niacinamide until you get through the initial purge & peeling. I know I didn’t like the smell.
